I seem to recall that Brashboy used to make one of these. Is it still made? I believe it was blue...
I cannot find it on BB's site.

Is that the part that went behind the fender? Probally not, but I was looking for that part a while back and couldn't find anything on their site either. It connected the top part of the fender to the side of the fender closest to the door. It was triangular in shape.

Yeah, they still have that available as was posted above.
But I really do seem to remember some other company with an engine damper besides the guy who used to make them on here, and C-One. It was a blue engine damper.

Yeah, I remember that one too... you had to remove the CC module to hook it up...

No it wown't. See, this one actually has a damper (like a shock you find in your suspension) whereas the killerM torque brace was just that: a solid brace. The fact that the killerM brace didn't have any give to it was what caused problems.

I assume that tab comes with the kit, as the only thing that is there stock is the CC module mount, and that's not strong enough to mount a engine damper to.

Yep, that's the one I mean...I guess my mind was remember something else that was blue.
I wonder how this one compares to the C-One damper. I know that one installs in a different place, because somehow it gets close to a front strut tower bar.

BrashBoy has discontinued the Engine Damper and the product was sold to C-ONE. However, C-ONE is redesigning it and should be ready in the near future.

The current C-One damper goes fromt the same passenger side motor mount to the passenger strut mount:

I find it interesting that Toyo used a relatively solid torque strut & a damper on my elder 6cyl Avy:

1) Front mount 2) Rear mount 3) Lower mount
4) Heat shield Rear mount 5) Front mount brkt 6) Rear mount brkt To engine
7) Rear mount brkt To frame 8) Side mount brkt #1 9) Side mount brkt #2
10) Torque strut 11) Torque strut Bracket 12) Torque strut Stay
13) Vibration damper
I have to look... but I recall 12 being off the pass. strut tower... tough to tell that from this pic.

I bet the bushings in the ends of that #10 piece are nice and soft though.
I bet the bushings in the ends of that #10 piece are nice and soft though. I need to really take a better look @ it some time... but, yes... I believe there are good sized rubber bushings there on the end links.
