its coo but when i come to a light and stop for a lil bit car starts shaking and turns off and will not turn back on for a while i thought it would be the mafs i bought a new and it still doing the same thing help me out there if u know what it is

alternator maybe. or if your belt tensioner is bad, the alternator will not turn, thus not charging your battery, and then the battery drains and it will stall.

i had a problem like that with my max, i replaced the alternator and never had it again. im not saying that it is your problem for sure. but i would go ahead and pull your alternator and take it to oreilly's or autozone and have them test it for you.

try cleaning the idle air control valve (IACV).

The easy way to do this is just pour some seafoam in the PCV hole on the throttle body in front of the throttle plate while the car is on and idleing (zero throttle). Make sure to only pour a bit at a time or it will stall the car (this isn't bad, but its annoying cuz you have to restart the car to continue). This will also have the added plus of cleaning the crud out of your engine.

when you say it won't turn back on for a while - does it still turn over quickly and just won't fire? Or does it just click like the battery is dead?

and i stop at the light its starts vibrateing the car soo i look at the rpms and it goes back and forth and it turns off an d then i have a 80 car traffic behind me it wont turn on and if it does i cant go only 1/2 a block and then i turns off again i dont know what it could be it feel like the mafs is unplugged but its not sooo i replaced it and still nothing still does it soo i am like wtf :hide:

see if it was his alternator all the lights would be flashing certain lights start to light up battery light abs like your emergency brake light will come on and the car wont start after that for a while just see if the battery light comes up and then the other will pop up my 2000 gts starts beeping when stuff starts shutting down. And when it is your alternator you have to keep your rpms up high so the car doesnt stall.

Just a warning, if it is the alternator, this is going to continue to get worse and eventurally the car will not start back up, so have it tested NOW.

By the description, I think it could also be a fuel delivery problem. It sounds like you've got plenty of juice to restart the car multiple times within a few minutes, which a bad alternator wouldn't recharge the battery enough to keep doing. The shaking could be the car sputtering from not enough fuel, and that would explain the jumps in RPMs, too, when it gets a couple more drops through, it would rev more. Not sure what our cars have for in-line fuel filters, but you might check that or maybe a bad injector? When you're on the throttle more, the increased total flow would keep you running with these problems, but once you let off they would resurface.
