Yes, so after being in the parts department here at Subaru of Milford for about two months (little less than that actually) the boss man sat me down yesterday and told me I start as a service writer on Monday!!! This means, after a 1 month break-in period, I'll probably get a raise and a small monthly slice of the service dept. profit!! :headbang:

I'll tell you, it sure is nice to work at a place where good, hard work really does pay off. :thumbup:

Good job man. Service Writers can make good money dude. The writers ay my dealership have been known to pull around 60k a year.

Yeah, right?? Things have been weird lately... my car has been a huge source of problems... only about half of which you guys know about... and now the parts I thought I had bought to fix that fenderbender don't look like they are coming! In one case the seller decided to up his price and in the other the seller looks like he's screwing me out of my money. The good news is that it looks like I'll be picking up Krysy's old front bumper... now I just need to find another fender.

Now Mike... service writers are just like witches, there can be good service writers and wicked service writers. I am will be one of the good ones, anyone who knows me knows I tend to take the high road. :D

Yes we get a commission, however it's not like the commission a salesperson gets. My paycheck does not depend on how much I sell, I just get a little more of a bonus at the end of the month if my department has good numbers. And you know Mike, I worked straight up commission for 5 years, if that didn't push me to the dark side, this certianly wown't. ;)
