vtech gt???

Ok so i was driving yesterday and i saw a celica gt with a vtec emblem. Now i know the person could have just been a moron and put a vtec emblem on a non vtec car but that would be dumb. So is it possible to make a celica have a vtec engine??? If so what does it require and how is it done??? I know it has something to do with the cam shafts but thats all i know...

No, Honda's have vtec, or i-vtec. Phones are made by vtech.

i know the gts has lift and a vvtl-i engine and hondas have vtec thats why i was confused on y a gt put the vtec emblem on it... kind of pointless if u ask me...

It is pointless to put a vtec emblem on a toyota. That guy is what we like to call a "ricer". He doesn't know what vtec means/does..he just knows it makes the car go "vroom". Therefor, he puts it on his car, and thinks people will think his car is fast. There's a ford focus in St Louis with a vtec emblem too...so sad.

so if u are silly enough u can have a VTEC emblem on the car but u don't need to coz VVTL-i and VTEC are the same.

No its not possible, theoretically a gts would have a dopleganger to VTEC, but a GT wouldnt.

i have seen plenty of non car related badges on cars. i saw a nissan sentra with Type R badges. I saw a Mitsubishi with Honda logos. VTEC stickers i have even seen on a freaken Volks WAGON!. So many morons who wanna make there car fast. Theres a guy who drives around in his 95 ford escort in my parking lot who thinks hes hard. He had some cheap subwoofers and amps i just wanted to laugh cause his car raddled like crazy. Technically you could have VTEC engine in a celica if you spent like $15k in custom work lol. I WISH I had the time to find the arguement I had in the FL forum about this. (summary, their arguement, making Integra or RSX "H" because its going back to the "roots", luxury brands are only for americans who want to show off money. My arguement, the dude paid for the acura). it was fun.

I saw this firebird a few months back. Red, convertible, nice looking. I was stopped at a red light next to it, and looked down at the side skirts; had a VTEC sticker next the tire. WTF? If youre going to bull****, at least have the right mfg. upgrade; RAMAIR would at least have been questionable.
