Umm...
Dude..do you know how hard it is to read all that...
Aike..I think I've become so used to internet etiquette, that looking at all that hurts my eyes.
Oww.
As far as helping..did you follow the instructions? Installing an Intake is EXREMELY EASY.
In fact..they're all quite similar.
My recommendation is to READ everything you can BEFORE you attempt an install. Know your subject matter thoroughly before attempting to do ANYTHING to your car. Unless of course..you'd like to be in the situation you are now.
Read this install and do a search on the net, plus look over your installation instructions. That should clear up quite a bit:

Sorry for the problems.

Oh..wait a minute...
You removed the black plastic on the left hand side? Is that what you're saying..and now it's all screwed up?
AND YOU CUT SOMETHING IN HALF JUST TO REMOVE THE PLASTIC? Oh..it was removed already?
DOH...welps..lemme put it this way, if the car didn't do that until you removed the plastic...you musta screwed something up.
Damn, man..what the heck did you do..explain and we can help you!
Jeez...

If your having trouble with you idle, I would check into something called Idle Control Valve (I think). My car did the same thing. I thought it was about to die, then it would rev back up by itself.

Let me see if I can translate this into something that we can understand. It sounds like a question and a problem.
Ok, here goes.
UltimateCelica's post:

When I was installing the "Buddy Club" body kit I had to remove the plastics inside the engine bay to get to the screws that held the bumper in place. I noticed that the container that holds the coolant appears to have one of it's hoses cut.
Now my question would be is this correct or has something happened along the way and this was cut by accident?
I don't know if this is related but when I start the car it gives a little "kick" as well as when I'm at idle the RPM's drop dangerously low and it feels like the car it about to stall.
The only performance mod I have in the engine bay is an AEM CAI.
Any help is appreciated.

UltimateCelica's END post.
So I have a few of questions for you.
1) Is there coolant leaking out of the hose that appears to be cut?
2) Is you engine heating up to high levels?
3) Is there any coolant in the container?
4) Who installed the CAI?
5) Is that the first time the plastics have been taken off by ANYBODY?
6) Is the CEL on? "Check engine light"
The CEL should be on if there is a major problem.... No coolant is a major problem.
Alright anyone have any ideas?
