Hello, does anyone know if they have had problems with a small rattle in the back hatch area. I only have 20,000 miles but it is making noise as if I have 90,000. Is this an easy fix or do I need to take it to my dealer. Will this be covered under my warranty? Has anyone else had similar problems with this area of the car before.
Thanks, Jeff

If the hatch itself is securely shut and not rattling, you might want to check the spoiler and the jack.

I have a 2002 GT with only 2k on it and I just noticed the rattle today. (Going fast over very bad roads) My previous car made a lot more noise on the same street (st. catharines ontairo has the worst roads next to buffalo and detroit) :-).

Pinpoint exactly where the sound is. Outside or inside. Could be that top piece above the rear seats covering the trunk area. If nothings else then take it in. Warranty should apply. It should be a no prob for dealer to fix.
