How many lbs does our gas tank weigh?

How many lbs does it weigh full and empty?

I don't know how much the gas tank weighs.

Water weighs about 7 lbs per gallon. I don't see gasoline being too far from that number. Our gas tank holds 14.5 gallon, according to my manual.

Supposively 6 lbs per gallon. 14.5 gallons = 87 lbs :p

water weigh's 8lbs per gallon gas should be very close, so at 14.5 =116lbs, the gas tank, ?? dont know.

so from a full tank to a 1/4 full tank is like 3/4 of a person...... so i guess if any people of u are racing... best have it around 1/4 gas rite?

after rollin from gas station my car always feels sluggish, but towards the end of the week (or second week.... auto gt heh heh heh) it responds much quicker off the line... i also think that auto lag has something to do with weight of car? i had 3 other people in my car, i tried flooring it, and i had 2 seconds of auto lag.... i could count it out..... that was siiiiick.... was ready to trade in for a 5spd the next day, but i didnt... cuz im out of money hahaha...

maybe ur breathing the fumes from the gas station.... or i am. :D

i could swear my car feels faster off the line on partially empty... i have an auto. dunno if that makes a difference...
