The dealer charges 179.00 for the 15,000 mi service for our car. Alot of that stuff is just checking. The oil and lube and the spark plug replacement is really the only manual thing done to the car, so I decided to just get the oil and lube for 20.00 and have my car serviced at 22,500 mi. Anyone else done this?

Hey Bat, you're not the only one that passed up on the 15,000 mile service. I think that 200 for just checking things is a whole lot of money. And with that, think of the mods you can get. I'm gonna get the 22500 mile service though also.

Smart move. Most of the scheduled maintanences are just checking fluids. I did my own 30k i too. I used a radiator flush kit, changed my oil, and cleaned and re-oiled my K&N. Cost me about 35 bucks.

I didn't get it done either. I dont want to pay that much for someone just to look at stuff.

Anyone know off hand, what the 22,500 mi service includes?

My Celica came with a scheduled maintanence booklet. It stated the mileage and what needed to be done.

Anybody know what's entailed in the 30k service? I'm coming up on mine, and if I can do it myself, I'd rather.
