I was backing out of my parking space at Home depot the other day. As I proceeded forward I was signaled to pull over by a person in a big a** Chevy. You know the type, Confederate flag in place of the front license plate. Anyways, the guy looked like your typical redneck, scruffy lookin' with a "Cat Machinery" hat on. He stared at my car for a moment, in the meantime I'm thinking "Great, this guys gonna spit chewing tobacco on my car and start harassing me and my foreign made vehicle." Well, to my surprise he really liked my car:). "Nice lookin car yer got there. I'm not into those kinds of cars, but yers is really nice lookin'. Is that a Toyoter?" "Yes" I replied. "Really nice, really nice" as he nodded his head with approval. I waved to him and was on my way. As I slowly pulled away, I looked in my rear view mirror. the guy was standing in the middle of the parking lot, chewin' his tobacco and still lookin' at my car:). the End...

Anyways, I got this one for you..heheh...This totally freaked me out.

I had a FATHER (read priesthood) escorting a Sister to her apartment (she lives downstairs) last night as I was talking to my neighbors about the break-ins and what not.

Anyways...as he was walking her to the security door, he glanced over and admired my car for a second, and then opened the door for her.

After he opened the door, he walked right back and was like "How fast have you gone in this littlle bugger?"

I looked over and I said "Pretty quick, father."

He goes "I would too..." :evil:

My jaw dropped and before he jumped into his Corolla he walked around my car mumbling something about it looking "nice" and actually got into his car while he was STILL looking back at it.

Mind you, he was DEFINETLY in his late 70's, white hair and all.

I was like.... "cool". :gap:

Hell ya! We've got 'em out here too. San Diego is so segregated. The necks out here live east of the city, near the mountain areas. Every so often they come down the mountains to make there annual pilgrimage to Home Depot, and buy whatever it is they need, before loading up the truck and heading back up to their log house;).
