Salt stains on mags

I was just wondering if there was a way to remove the "salt stains" on the mags. I think the term used if when your mag gets pitted (?). The previous owner kept the mags on during winter and there are small spots everywhere on the mag. I was wondering if there was a miracle product to clean it, or if it can be restored professionally.

If the wheel is pitted there is no way to 'clean' it. The finish has been compromised and the metal is deteriorating. You can clean the wheel to remove all the black brake dust that settles in the pits. The wheel will have to be professionally restored to fill/cover/seal the pitting.
