3M or Scratch X

ok well there is a scratch on my car, and i know its pretty deep, i mean my fingernail can go inside it. i tried using Scratch X to take it out, but no go. do you guys think that 3M rubbing compound will do the job, or that it would be a waste of money?

Waste of money. If you can get your fingernail caught it is too deep. I would take it to a shop and get their opinion. My guess: wetsand and repaint.
