After my car was in the shop for an accident repair, I have dirty fingerprints on my headliner and around the sunroof trim from the mechanics. I'm gonna remove the headliner to isolate some rattle up there. Anyone have a suggestion for cleaning that thing?

Jesse IL, that headliner is as thin as paper, if you use any liquid product on it I would think that it would soak all the way through the headliner. The best thing that I can think of trying is maybe a foam carpet cleaner and a VERY SOFT brush. Actually, here is a pic of my headliner out of the car so you can see how thin it is....

hmm, when I had dirt spots on my headliner I just used a towel with a very small amount of water on it. I jsut rubbed the spot and it went away. I haven't had any problems for over one year.
