My last set of tyres were Eagle F1 GS-D3. They performed pretty well in wet environments. The road noise seemed to be considerably higher than the factory Yokohama tyres. Tyre wear was acceptable lasting me over 2 years with some trackday weekends in between. At the price that they sell in New Zealand (~131USD per corner) they are a steal.
How much do they sell for at your end?

i wouldn't get them i had a pair of 225/35/18 ZR 18's and those things wore even but i just didn't like them at all the tread is 280. If i was you i'd go with Bfgoodrich. I just got some Bfgoodrich tdkw in the new tread. if you want more details pm me about those crappy GS-D3's.

I've heard some people have been getting bubbles in the sidewall, soft sidewalls causing the tire to blow. Even if that's only a few cases I won't buy them.
