It's not NOS, It's nitrous. NOS is a brand name for Holley's Nitrous Oxide Systems. :newbie:

But yeah, we get that all the time over on the IS300 boards. when someone refers to n shot they are referring to the n horsepower boost it gives them. Anyone want to pick up from here? I have to go back to molecular biology.

Yeah but why do we call all sodas Coke? Its like, "yeah Ill have a coke", when that means pepsi, RC, whatever. We call collared shirts "polo's". All cookies that have white cream inside of em, we call oreos. lol. Anyhow that goes on and on...so I dont see why Nos cant be used as the term...saying "nitrous" sounds geeky anyways

ArtMan,

If you call all sodas Coke, you're missing out on the wonderful world of Britney Spears and Pepsi. Smarten up man. If you call all cookies with cream in the middle Oreo, you miss out on Hydrox, but that's too obscure and with no hot pitch woman. Damn, its too early in the morning to post!

From my side and many others, "NOS" sounds silly just recalling how stupid they sounded in F&F using and then overusing the term even if its Holley related. As for collared shirts, I like henley's.
