EDIT: Sorry guys, I had to remove the files. At about 14 simultaneous connections my server hung. I'm looking for somewhere to host them right now. If you have a high bandwidth location somewhere, email me and I can FTP them somewhere.

Ok, they're pretty huge, even with low quality, so they may be replaced once I get the DivX codec working, and I may have to crank the quality down even more. If anyone here knows a bit about video capture please email me, I'd like to learn how to make this stuff work.

Well I can see this isn't going to last long. I currently have 9 people sharing my 384k of upstream bandwidth, I'm lucky to even get DNS responses.

I'm going to look for somewhere else to put those files.

Would a T1 connection help any better? If so, you can FTP it to me. But also I'm on a school network so I'm not sure.

Due to server problems...

If anyone is interested, I'll burn the video on a cd (as an mpeg) and mail it out. The cost will be $3, which should be enough to cover the cost of the cd, a padded envelope, postage, and the fees for those that choose to pay by Paypal.

If you want one, just Paypal $3 to auctions@greganti.com with your address. If you want to mail it to me, email me for my address.

I could also do VHS tapes for $5, since I think the shipping will be a bit higher and the cost of the tape is higher.

i have the race! it is 384 megabytes, avi, divx 5.0 codec (not sure of bitrate). 24 minutes long. Fourgig capped it and i got a CD from him. ill try to upload it to Russ' server since i have access to 200kbps+ upstream data.

Did anyone get the video? When I was stepping out the door to go to work it was like 11% done uploading to CrazyCelicaGTS. I'm not sure if my Kazaa is on right now cause I have two sister that also uses my computer and they might have closed it out. I'll make sure to keep it on Kazaa all day tomorrow and it'll also be on WinMX tomorrow too. I get home from work at 8:00am central so I'll be sure to turn on the Kazaa and WinMX. Let me know if anyone is having problems getting it.

ok...mircon sent it to me the other day...but it doesn't work! we both get errors when trying to play.

but if you right click, and go to properties, and preview...it will play...but mine cuts off about halfway through the race.

it is 393,614KB big...is this the right size? Hilfiger: you got that same size file? if yours is different, send it! i'm always on auto-recieve and should be on for the rest of the day/night/etc.

K guys i got the vid from 00CelicaRuss, thought id put up an ftp for tonite, so u can download while i sleep. Heres the FTP info, only 2 users per session tho, only tranfers at 400k, so thats 200k for each user, better than nothing.
