Question on indash dvd units

Just a simple question: When stores install an indash dvd unit, they connect a wire to the e-brake that disengages the dvd playing mode while moving, due to legal issues. Where can i connect this wire so that i can play movies without engaging the e-brake.

You shouldn't drive with it, while your driving. :D

depends on what brand you get ..

Alpine - either run the two wires to swtiches, there is a foot brake (forget colour), and a e-brake (yellow and blue strip) or you could get the by-pass unit, PAC-7 i think it is.

all other brands just need to be grounded and it should work.
