juss got my car

hey guys, I just got my car, I'm a real newbie at this, but I didn't know about the break-in thing and change gears at 4,000-5,000 RPMS a few times. I'm at 400 miles, people say it would ruin your engine if you go over 5,000 RPMs. How would I know if my engine is ruined??

congrat on ur new car, i'm sure u'll love it :)
also, try not to rev over 4k, and do NOT run the car in the same gear for a long time, i'll say couple times over 5k is not bad, try REAL hard k? and get a oil change at 1000k, things will better after that :) u should try the lift(over 6k) at around 1500-2000miles, hope this help
