looks nice, whats the MSRP? I guess this is competing with the RAV4? Looks like its going to be a lot more expensive though. I like that its factory turbo. Turn up the boost for more power. :)

its actually meant to compete with the BMW X3 and infinit FX35. im expecting fully loaded $50~55k.

its a very nice looking SUV. If i had the money id buy it.

factory VTEC turbo? NICE

torque peaks a bit late for a truck though
HP peaks way way late.

look at the hp rating, I doubt it can hang with either of them. it's definetly a RAV4 competitor, it's got the damn Civic steering wheel.. $50k is just ridiculous for this vehicle. Im guessing around $27K fully loaded.

No chance its under 30k. The RL is almost 50k... so high pricing is not ridiculous, even for Acura's standard. Expect mid 30's, easily.

mid 30's is MDX territory, I doubt acura wants MDX sales cannibalized (sp?).

MDX base is $37,150..

Besides, go see how many you can find on dealer lots for a base model MDX. It's pretty rare, let alone finding many for less than 40k.

finding a stripper model is hard to find and that is a given. that is why you only find "well-optioned" models on dealer lots. I hope you realize this thing is roughly the size of a CR-V. one could argue it's nothing more than a CR-V in a tuxedo. well, whatever, if it were my $$$$ Id be content with a RAV4 Sport V6, the RDX doesnt do it for me.

Update!

First Drive: 2011 Acura RDX FWD (http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/suvs/1012_2011_acura_rdx_fwd_drive/index.html)
Focused Crossover Needs a Bit More Fine-Tuning

Don't forget about the upcoming TSX wagon, which is really the front-wheel-drive RDX's first competitor. The similarly priced TSX isn't likely to be as sporty as the RDX, but the wagon does have a cargo area capable of swallowing 31.5 cubic feet of stuff with the rear seats up and 60.5 cubic feet with the seats folded down. Those who want a sporty drive and are willing to accept a stiff ride should stick with the RDX.

Value is still a great reason to consider an Acura, but the RDX goes further by adding a sporty driving experience. In a crowded field of SUVs, sales of the front- and all-wheel-drive RDX lag behind every Acura except the RL and ZDX. Despite its faults, the 2011 RDX has a sense of purpose and should be able to maintain its niche in the luxury crossover market. Whether Acura continues to commit to the sporting nature of the RDX in its next generation is another question.

They don't sell a FWD version in the States do they? I like the AWD system, it snowed here last month and I didn't have any problems. I was worried the RDX was going to be crap in anything worse than a heavy rain.
