Just drove one. :AF:
306 hp, 270ish tq
Handles a lot better (and smoother) than the old one
Except they got rid of the traction control off button
Also, no keys for the ignition anymore. It uses a remote key signal, and engine start stop button. To listen to the radio on/ have electronics but not the engine you just take your foot off the brake and hit the on button. Really easy and sweet to drive.

i still prefer the old one for performance looks. the new one looks more like a luxury sedan (which it is). i like them though. id love to drive (own) one.

ill wait til i can get one used. til then ill buy an older is300.

Yes it's much faster, M3 territory. I wouldn't say it "handles" better because it's a 300lbs heavier. You can change the suspension, but tough to do anything about the weight.

It's a great car except the fact that it doesn't look like the IS300 at all. It's more like a mini-GS.

Now that blitz made a supercharger for the IS350, I'm more pissed than ever that it doesn't have a manual. A 400hp+, manual IS350 would be a perfect everyday driver. Why Lexus? Why??!!

I really like the new IS. I love how what they did with the looks, inside and out. Now I cant justify getting the older one. The old one is still sweet, but IMO the new ones are sweeter. I dont mind they dont have a manual, if I were to purchase one it would be to just pimp and cruise. If I wanted performance luxury I'd get a BMW or Benzo. but thats just me. :)

Almost every carmaker is trying to kill manual transmissions in cars that cost over 30k nowadays it seems.
