Parking Ticket

i was on my to the gym today. As i was pulling in some old a$$ Mother Focker was crossing across the parking lot in the middle of the parking spots, so i parked trying to keep an eye on him as i parked my car . As i was walking in i looked at the guy and was shaking my head. Anyway, got in started working out, and that guy comes in and says Hey! your parked in a handicap spot! I laughed at him and Said "Yeah OK Thanks buddy" so he walks in for a sec and on his way out he says "with an attidude like that you don't need to be here" or something to that effect. I looked at him and laughed still shaking my head. So i thought that was it. About 5 or 6 mins there's a cop parked next to my car. I go out and he's writing me a damn ticket! The cop told me that he had someone come in the little mini police station, which just happens to be right next to the gym, and said i was mouthing off to him bla bla. I didn't even see the handicap parking painted on the pavement cause it was raining, and with the oil and everything else on it it was hard enough to see during nice weather. But i walked back in to the gym and turns out that one of the guys in there is a cop too. He said since there was no vertical sign in front of the parking space that it shouldn't hold up in court. Does anyone know if this is true? I tried looking it up on the internet but can't find Ish on it.

The cop told me not to expect anything less than $150, and the only reason i want to get out of ticket is so i can shove it up the ****er"s old oxygen tank needing, diaper wearing ass!!

i have heard that no upright sign thing before too, but am not positive it is true, fight it tho-what is the worst that can happen-u end up paying it anyways.

Go to a police station and ask them... pretty simple.

But it does make sense.. otherwise why would they spend extra $$$ to put a sign and paint the parking stall if they can just paint the parking stall instead?

$150? You shouldn't be complaining. There was a guy and a friend who stopped in front a haddicapped space in front of a supermarket so that his gf could run in and buy some stuff. He was there for less then 5 mins and the cops came, gave him and his friend a ticket for $275 each. They gave him a bunch of crap at it too. Now that hurts..........
