Wow Krysy, you're car has come a long way. I remember when it was bone stock and you had that hit in your door and how upset that made you. So I can only imagine how mad you must be right. I'm assuming we're not going to be told what you're doing with the car now though. ;)

Oh you have no idea Matt... The Jersey girl in me is in full effect. I have been tear assing around. I was at the shop till midnight last night sanding ****. My roommates have done nothing but rip me up because when I get mad my accent is back worse than ever. All my new components for the system arrived last night. Right now it's about 2 or 3 things that are MIA.
We have to cut back some of our plans in order to fit it all in and get it all done with out rushing. Right now it looks like a stolen recovery. Interior parts missing, other things missing, primer and bondo everywhere AGAIN. My engine is naked, all my plastics are gone. It infuriates me to drive it in that condition so today I stole the Cobalt. :evil:

Damn straight I am not going to spill the beans. :evil: General idea is about all anyone is getting. Details are between me and the shop that my parts are strewn all over right now LOL.

It looks like a Celica exploded in there....

I had a great time at HIN!!

Glad I got to meet the few people I did. I talked to so many people about my car that night so sorry if I missed any of you.

Thanks Matt for waxing my car LOL! I had to avert a club crisis regarding that electric issue.

My car got together in time. We were up all night on Thursday. Got to the shop at 9PM and didn't leave untill 6:30 Friday morning. We went nonstop all night. It paid off I think. Hopefully I can post some better pics of my car than the one here.

Yeah I didn't take a good enough pic of your car and I'm sorry for that. I don't know what it was but seemed like it was Rush Mode for me at Times.

Heck the Woman at the door greeting people you know the one on the cover of the HIN Modified Mag show cover is a friend of mine from www.tunerfriends.com and is in my top 8 on myspace along with Krysy.

In all, it was a nice turn out, but if you ask me, there seemed to had been more car's in last years show.

Awards at this years show were a ****ing joke. One guy got like 7 different trophies for the same damn car. It was ridiculous. Miss HIN couldn't even pronounce some of the CAR names. She called a Cavalier a Cavalarie and an EVO she spelled out E-V-O. Sorry if your Miss HIN you should know a little something about cars.

Some people were parked between a wall and an 18 wheeler with no lights on. They said for 1/2 the show no one even looked at their cars. My group and I were supposed to be parked there and we flipped out. The moved us into AudioBahn's spot because they didn't show up.

I thought i was VERY disorganized and a POOR showing for HIN. They usually do a much better job. We saw maybe 2-3 people running the whole thing.

In all, it was a nice turn out, but if you ask me, there seemed to had been more car's in last years show. My son made similar comments. As a newbie 1st timer.. I was less than impressed w/the overall cost - $37 w/parking, poor lighting, and general organization (or lack thereof). The sponsorship seemed to be sorely lacking... As for the cars... definitely interesting... but there were just as many interesting ones in the parking lot;)

Probably the best part was the opportunity to meet Krysy & see her ride. It would have been nice to meet some of the other folks from the board. Maybe we should have organized too?

I can't say that I had a bad time. But, I think I will prefer the "meet" environment more.

I will go again next year though. I would love to go to another SEMA show I went to one back in November of 1997 a week after getting back from my second tour of duty in Bosnia. Went with my ex-wife and her folks. He paid for it he owned Cooper Tires in Sweden. And yes I got Free tires all the time. LOL

You used to have the BC1 kit and a gunmetal paintjob, right? Car looks nice.

Yeah I had the BC1 I just switched the front and painted the top black left the bottom Gunmetal.

that splitter you have there, is it a BC2 splitter or something else. It does look like the bc2 one but im just askin anyways to be sure. Is it supposed to stick out that much or is that how you like it.

Yeah its the buddyclub2 splitter and its suppose to stick out that much its a pain driving around with it.

It's got a big gap between hood & front bumper cover. The black does help hide it.... a lil. Should continue the CF overlay further down the nose, too... IMO.

Almost tempted to call BS. It sure looked & felt like an overlay...w/the ridges higher on the overlay (if it were painted CF... there should be a reverse paint ridge... the paint being higher) & pretty sure I felt/saw the weatherstrip. Even if it were missing the weatherstrip.... the amount of the strip showing on a stocker is about 1/8"... your gap is at least 1/4".

If it is a CF hood... consider an additional overlay piece on the nose;)

In any event.... +++ points for representing the Celica community:) & very lucky to be in the best lit area;)

Actually, as I looked closer in HiOctanes picture, I'm there right above the windshield with my hands in my pockets and red wrist bands talking to Krysy who is right next to me. I was actually her and her bf Jeffs ride into the show. Since they had to drop off their cars Friday night, they had no way of getting there Saturday. They hooked me up, so I helped them out. I guess you could say that I was Krysy's company most of the night. I just went wandering off when you guys met her.

Myself and another camera expert couldnt figure out the settings for the pictures to come out right without a tripod. So I didnt even bother. :(
