View Full Version : Which spoiler is better?

Hey guys, i just want to get an opinion on which type of spoiler i should get...

Right now, i have a 2002 black gt-s, with a trd bodykit

I don't want to get a trd spoiler, cuz too many ppl in the area has it... so my other choices were down to either:

The Apc Wing or the C-one wing

Get the RMM CF wing! It looks hot... check out X-EVIL-X's ride.. he's got a black celica with it :D

I would definatley choose the C-one wing over the APC.

Pics don't do this wing justice just so you know... It looks better on... Redline has the same wing... Im sure he will say the same thing... Hope that helps... Later...

that kam looks like a combination of the rod milled and the trd. its ok. too big for me. i have the wings west one because its smaller. the RMM one does look good on evilx's car. still a little big to me.

but for the love of god, don't get the APC.

Hey Nice wing! hehehe. did you paint the edges of the carbon fiber insert or is that just the reflective light off of your car?

if you can, try to get the Molly Designs wing, or the C-One wing (I think someone makes a replica of it called the "Tie Fighter" wing).

I'm wondering the same thing:confused: Personally, I would have just left the whole insert as is, without painting any of it.

No the bottom part isnt painted... Its just that the black lining surrounding the CF wasnt consistent... And it was really getting to me... So I decided to paint the edges to match the car...

i like the tie fighter. mite be "ricey" to some.... but on protoolskids car it looks totally awesome... maybe its the setup on his car.... <shrug>

I like the first spoiler kaminari made. It looks stock I little bit taller and wider and it has carbon fiber on it. I like that, and I'll get that. To each his own ;)

I have to assume that you are asking about the wing...

The kit with the wing ran me $1410.80 from www.racerette.com shipped to my door... I ordered the kit and the wing about 2 months ago... The wing was $574.30 and the kit was $956.50 which would come up to $1530.80 - Now these are the prices if you buy the wing separately... Since I bought the kit and wing combo they didn't charge me shipping for the wing and just placed the wing in the box with the kit... That would be a $120 savings which would go to the next mod :D... The painting was done for free... It was time to collect :D...

The RMM wing was the one I was planning to get but then someone on NC.net showed me the Kaminari one and I just had to get it... I love your wing too... Sweet ride man... Oh yeah how low is your drop? Thanks in advance...

the front lip is wings west.
the entire kit is wings west.
the drop is probally 2 1/2"-3" i think.

Looks like I'll be the 2nd. I just got my Kam Wing today, and yer right. I can always have the edges painted black, but Spec Blue looks the best:). How much prep work did yer wing require?

Anyway you could get some direct rear pics of the wing. Its lookin nice on your ride. The paint lining around the CF is a great touch. Is the surface still smooth on the wing?
