OK, as for background, the car is in the body shop getting c-One widebody done and new paint. I'm going to be getting the Advan Super Racing Series II wheels, and here are the two sizes I can get.
18x8.5" +45 offset
18x8" +48 offset
I have a little input from a trusted member here saying the best for my application is the +45 offset. I just want to know what others think. I have a BBK on it BTW, but I think the way the wheels are (spokes flare inside as they reach further out in diameter, so it wont scrub the caliper), it won't make much of a difference. Any input is appreciated

Because of the flares I doubt that +45 at 8.5 inches will be flush. Your wheels need to be fitted and imho i think the offset is going to end up close 0mm if not negative.

well I dunno if Advan offers different offsets. Would spacers be needed in that case?

If you're running flares, get offsets that are in the 20's. 40's will look sunk as hell with flares. Even 35 is not even flush to stock fenders how much more for that offset you posted. :)

I'm going for the biggest lip/spoke curve that I can. I think the 8.5s will work well but with spacers. I still need to research it some more.
