hey guys...
well..one half of the underbody plastic lost both screws on the hwy. It got some good scrapping..and its yet to be put back on. Is this plastic necessary...
and..how much would it cost to get it replaced at a toyota dealership?
or am i better of just fixing the current one i got on there?

you should upgrade to like a beatrush or brashboy underpanel. Its been well worth it for me, and it probably would cost the same instead of buying a full underbody plastic. I got mine when they first came out (i think) at around 250.

I left mines off. It's been a year. Still no problem.

^Ya, i could have done the same thing, but i wasn't comfortable with things flying up in the engine bay. I went ahead and bought the beatrush panel and i feel like its held up really well for all the abuse ive put it through(oppossums, running off the road and dragging it). I still in fact have trouble finding the areas it's been hit.

wrong...lots of dust and dirt will get in ur engine bay...and if snow then it might cause rust...and dont forget that ur flywheel has an opening so if dust/dirt or a piece of rock gets in there then you might have a few problems...its always good to protect ur engine and engine bay

true. even tho they are kinda frustrating, just go to the toyota dealer and pick up a pack of 10 of the fasteners. it's like 12.00. and if you have extra just save 'em.

besides water and dirt and all types of material flying up into the engine bay. no underbody plastics would cause lots of drag and resitance. also could hurt acceleration AND mpg as well.

Half of mine is off, it was ripped up and taped on when I got the car. So I removed that half of it for now.

True these... it's also quieter & part of the cooling airflow system.
Discounted: around $60 for the stock center panel & around $1 a piece for the pop clips, more for the 2 screws & U clips.
