[QUOTE]Acura

Clearly the big news under the calipers this year is the double barreled launch of the RDX and MDX sport-crossovers, but there is other stuff to talk about.

* MDX Acura's 7-passenger family truckster gets a much needed redesign this year. At this point, here's what we know: It will be powered by a V6, said to be the most powerful V6 yet sold in an Acura (so that means >290hp); Much time was spent tuning the MDX at the N

i saw a pic of the new CR-V, pretty clean, not awkward looking like the last 2 gens.

as far as no DC5 Type R - the A Spec package comes with the Type-R body kit, the 05+ has the Type R cams, and the A Spec package has the Type-R suspension - all that's missing is the front LSD.

I recently drove an RSX-S for 05, and they reworked the suspension and the motor - let me say, it blew my old Celica outta the water. Car was awesome.

Haha can't believe they said that about the RSX not fitting with their upscale image of Acura. They should just sell the RSX under the Honda name then, but then again they already have the new Civic SI.

^^^ I saw one the other day. I must admit they look pretty nice on the go. Some old fart was driving it though ... probably thinks that others will think that he's in an expensive sports car! Isn't the MSRP for these things like $20,000? :chuckles:

:thumbdown I'd rather hear more wild speculation about a new Supra for 2008.

the solstice and skye are both great looking cars - from what I hear they're nice boulevard cruisers with decent torque, but they're nowhere near the Miata in terms of pushing the car and getting high performance.

They are launching their SKY TURBO soon....I rather get the SLK 350 Roadster l love the Hard top rather then that canvas top the sky has.

How about the MX-5 with powered hard top. No loss of trunk space. Due out in just over a month.
