Ok for the last several days my car has been acting really weird. For example, yesterday on my way to work I was just driving along and had to stop for traffic when my car starts idling really funny like droppiong down to 200 rpms then shooting back up to like 500-900 rpms then doing it again then the car would like stall out or nearly die and come back to life then it would die completely to have to be restarted. After that I just recranked it and all was well but it has been doing this for several days. Anybody have a clue what in the hell could be causing this?

Have you done anything to it recently?
Timing? MAF? Fuel Injectors?
Have you reset the ECU, disconnected your battery, or jumpstarted it lately?
I've only had this happen twice... where it just seems to get into an unhappy state where it just keeps hunting continously...both times it was a certain amount of time after I reset the ECU.. I've just shut down & restarted to clear it... cuz I knew my MAF & IACV were clean.
But if it keeps happening to you....try cleaning IACV & MAF... & reset the ECU...

I haven't done anything to it recently. It has never been jumpstarted and I have not messed with the battery ccables or connections in a long time, so I don't think it has anything to do with that. I have noticed a decline in gas mileage and I know for a fact it has nothing to to with the clutch.
I have noticed a decline in gas mileage Start w/cleaning MAF, IACV, & throttle body...

ahah... what year is yours? mine is 2000 GT-S. i used to have prob, when coming to a stop the rpm would drop below 500, stalled, bogged and died, and the Voltage just dropped too.
have you checked your battery, alternator, or ignition starter? my prob turned out to be bad alternator and ignition coil. soon after it was fixed all problems gone.
good luck.............
