there is a 1st Gen awd DSM (Eclipse GSX) for 2500 dollars here
perfect condition just needs some fresh paint (the stock red is a little faded from the texas sun and no waxing)

its pretty clean.


i can also get a 94 honda cbr F2 for about the same price


Im thinking of laying down for one of these this summer.

The GSX would only be to beat all the kids around here who buy new eclipses and do ricer mods but can still usually beat me just because of boost. It would basically end the pissing contest...I'd probably sell it once I got bored of making them all feel stupid or I'd keep it and drive to and from college


i also found a 4age Hachi Roku (corolla GTS) fo ra similar price which would be a BLAST to play with even though it is slow.


the CBR would be another fun machine to have for sunny days.

stay away from the motorcycle if thats what that lil name was. Get the eclipse if nothing it would give u something to do as u fixed it up

The F2 is a good starter bike, if you're just getting into motorcycles. If not, you should prolly look for something else.

I really like DSMs, but I'd have to take the AE86 over the GSX, simply for the fun value. Both cars offer a large aftermarket to play with, altho the DSM would be the car to build for all out straight line speed. The hachi would be a cheaper project car, and you'd prolly get more for your money. I've been considering building one myself for awhile now.

GT-S. I love they way that car looks and the aftermarket is good. I really dont know anything about trubos, so I'd go with the AE86!

Ooh, AWD DSM...that's what I was looking at getting to play with in addition to my 94 Celica, but I decided to trade for the 2000. But anyways, the 1G turbos are a blast. There are a couple of things to watch out for(if memory serves right, timing belt is notorious for breaking and awd trannys are a bitch). I'm sure you know about the DSM sites to check for stuff on, www.dsm.org or www.dsmtalk.com. I'd go with the DSM tho :)

ooh! get the 86! that would be awesome. then you could pretend to be in initial D. or if i didnt get that, i'd get the cbr. i really want one of those too but i think i'm gonna wait til i get a new car first.

I would go with the GSX, only because the thing is a monster stock. If you modded it some more, you would probably end up with one bad ass car. But, bikes are awesome too, since they'll go faster than any car.
