I was wondering what prodcuts I could use on my GT-S fake Aluminum pedals. I have a large black spot(looks like it could have been gum) stuck to my dead pedal. I cleaned most of it off, but it left a slight residue that I can't get off. The only products I have tried so far are windex/window cleaner and water. Anone have any suggestions?

rubbing alcohol, or you can also use some goo-gone and a toothbrush (an old toothbrush that is)

I use Simple Green or Orange Clean... Orange Clean ROCKS! It took out this gunk on my exhaust that's been there for like months...

hmm i'll try some rubbing alcohol. Speaking of Orange Clean, do yo uthink Oxy Clean would work? I have some and it works well on my carpet.

Not a fan of oxy clean, I dont like products that stain your fingers...but anyway, for those of you who think Simple Green is great, you should really get your hands on Castrol SuperClean. That stuff is VERY potent.

409 kitchen cleaner works on anything...
I know this is a really old thread.. but i would like to 'service my pedals... they are all scratched (GTS Pedals) is there any one who managed to take out the aluminium pedal plates and sanded them down and polished them?

i don't have aluminum pedals, but gts ones have rubber stick out of the aluminum plates right? try GOO GONE on the pedals to get rid of the sticky stuff you need out. then use a dremel with some aluminum polish to get in the small areas.
