also, the engine part is stock (to my knowledge) and I plan on running 8 psi since i've read that it's safe. would my setup work with that being said?

eventually i plan on upgrading the rest of the internals and increasing the boost

You need a fuel pump and upgrade to the pfc if you can.

I'm also guessing, now that i think about it, that i'll need a boost controller and a turbo timer... hmmm... this is turning out to cost way more than I expected it to. haha.

You dont really need a boost controller if you only plan on running at a low psi (and since i see no internals in your list i'm assuming so), but they're still nice to have. Turbo timers are relatively cheap, you can usually find some used ones on ebay for around 50 bucks.

yeah, no internals on the list yet... I still have to buy all of these items and get them installed before I think about going up higher again... haha

gotta let the bank account refresh itself after I drain it away.

boost controller isnt necessary, just get an 8lb spring. If you want to turn up the boost later on down the road, then invest in a boost controller.

I saw you put "preprogrammed" emanage. you are going to want to atleast get that professionally tuned if not get a PFC and get that professionally tuned. Or get a wideband system for your setup as well.

You might want to consider picking up a few gauges to monitor your engine as well, usually a nice addition

All of that stuff listed comes with the Hass turbo kit. I plan on getting all of this shop-installed, and shop-tuned, for obvious reasons, including I don't have the time to do it myself working a full time job, and second cause I don't own a dyno =P

What other gauges should I look into getting?

Also, would the c2 power kit be better off? what do you guys think?

Can the emanage even control 630cc injectors? I think thats to big of a injector for the emanage to handle, but I could be wrong.

Imo 2 necessary ones are a wideband o2 and a oil pressure, and a boost gauge of course.

I personally think oil temperature will tell you much more than oil pressure.
