*sigh*
I think I'll stop this before it gets out of hand like the one the other day.
Its a resistor that fools you ECU into thinking that your car is getting more air than it really is, which make it pump more fuel into the cylinders.
All your gunna do is run rich, waste gas, and clog up your sensors.

 Actually, I thought it fooled with the temp sensor so that the ECU added more fuel to compensate for a bogus cold temperature reading -- either way, same result, and the ECU would eventually compensate. Doesn't work, and even if it did, it certainly wouldn't add 20 ponies.

Friend put that resistor in his Focus, when it wasn't stumbling, hesitating, and stalling out there was a noticeable difference. It was like driving a car with a stuck choke, def not worth it and you could damage your car. he had auto and it a started shifting hard, slamming into each gear. Overall a bad choice

my roomates did it on two cars....no results on one...but on the other one, it just made is vtec engagment come later, which helped him nothing, becuase he actually needs it earlier...both cars were 97 one hatchback dx and the other coupe ex

Send me $8.00 + shipping and I'll be glad to send you a $0.07 4.2K ohm resistor, too.

if you honestly think those $20 mods that promise 400 hp work. Why don't you spend the $20 then go spend another $100 on a dyno.

Reminds me of the guy other day who said his $500 super charger gave him 350 hp for l15 seconds LMFAO.
