View Full Version : wheel max..
i heard it all. how wheel max have piss poor customer service and about not shipping the right amount of lugs etc.
Though they have their faults, is it still worth buying from them? i know they have some pretty good deals with their rims and so.
is there another place that have these kind of deals?
any places in southern california?

i was at the teamunison board earlier, and there was someone who complained that they sent him the wrong color cetner caps for his Enkei's. They seem to be pretty shoddy. You can read the entire post over at www.teamunison.com

Well, I know of plenty of ppl that have had problems with wheel max but I just ordered a set of wheels from them (mainly because I couldnt find them anyplace else and they had them in stock) and I had no problems what-so-ever... I actually got 23 lugs so they sent a few extra for me. The wheels are perfect and their customer service was just fine in my book... Leo was the guy that sold me mine and he was very helpful everytime I called him...
So moral of the story... Wheel Max = Not so bad in my book....

It was a pain to deal with em, but in the end, I still got a great deal on a nice set of rims. You deal with them for a few weeks, but enjoy the rims for years.
IMO, worth it, just not worth writing home about service wise.

Terrible time with them also. You cant beat the deals if you want to wait a couple months to get everything. Good service till you have a problem then its a whole different story.

I had a bad experience with them, and will never try to do business with them again. I ordered some Z5000's from there for a GREAT price, and 2 months later still had nothing to show for it, except for a 2 month old credit card bill for rims and tires that never showed up. When I called them for the 10th time, they finally told me they no longer carry Racing Hart, yet all their ads and website still advertise them.
I asked them if they thought that they should refund me my money, and they said, "Well, I guess so...." If a company does business like that, they shouldn't be in business. I finally had to dispute the charge with my credit card company because it took them so long to credit my account.
MY moral: They SUCK!

Huh...everyone talks about the out of stock thing. I ordered mine right around Xmas time and they were at my door in Omaha within 4 days.
