Where would be best to place to source a power when the door is open??
I was thinking of straight to the dome light, but I don't want to run all the wire up there.... or maybe I can run at bottom of the pilla area....
But where is the direct source of the connection??
Thanks

theres a writeup on the illuminated door sills. they show where to draw the power when the door is open.

Oh yea... I can do that also...
I give that a try too.. thanks..
Depends on the current... but you can source a relay off the dome wire in the driver's kickpanel... R/W... I think it was...

Alright cool....
It goes high......... +12V on open door... but it's fed out of the body ECU by a pass transistor.... so you don't want to be adding any high current draws to it.... but you have the LED dome light ... in any event... I don't think the transistor is rated for much more than 1/2A... so you're better off w/using it to drive a relay.

prettmyuch just find an always on power source and hten use the door stopper as a ground. that is how the doorsills work.

By using the DOME... it goes + when any door is opened... to use the door switches requires a diode "OR".
