View Full Version : Kumho Ecsta Supra 712s
Im about to purchase a new set of tires, my stock ones have worn out. I am looking at the Kumho Ecsta Supra 712s and I think those are the ones im going to buy; $101/piece with mounting, lifetime balancing/rotation, road hazard and flat repair locally. I'd like to know how long these are supposed to last? From the pictures it doesn't look like the tread is very deep. I'm just hoping these tires last longer than the 15k the originals did. I'd also like some peoples opinions on them, from what I hear they handle a little worse than the stocks in the dry and much better in the wet; which is fine with me. Thanks.

How many miles do you currently have on them and how is the treadwear looking?

I have them on my car....... they were alright when they were still kind of new... but now that they're worn in(not balding of course).. they kind suck for gripping the road.. I'm going to go for some s-03 pole positions.. may be a little more expensive, but for the GRIP.. they're on top of the sticky street tire tire's.
I have these in 205/50/16. They were very greasy for the first 2-300 miles. Once scuffed in, they're pretty good. Not quite as good in dry performance as the stock yokos but much better in the rain. I've run with -1.5

I got about a good 25000 kms on mine (205/50-16)...Grip is still good, but Damn that Tread Noise is annoying!...They are actually noisier than my winters!...
