View Full Version : Customizing interrior

Ok i see people with custom interriors that are (not everything mind you) colored red or blue and such to match their cars and i was just wondering, how is this done. Are these things bought from a site or can you color them yourself? If so what do you need and how do you do it? I searched for this already but only thing that came up was about darkening interrior so sorry if this is a re-post.

all you do is take out the plastic.. sand, primer (if needed), paint, dry Clearcoat (optional) and put them back in.. i know on AGC there is a guide to remove your entire dash!

Thanks, i found some more stuff on it. any type of name brands that are recommended or is one as good as the other, also as far as vinly paint and the paint for the plastics, any brand thats recommended?

A lot of people dye their interiors, if that helps.. My body shop guy is painting mine :)

That one was actually sold. I'm down to 2 interiors now (both '00-'02 gray). I'm doing a custom interior which I'm currently still working on. I'll keep you guys updated, but everything is going pretty smoothly at the moment. Very time consuming, though.
