I gave my mom a ride to work and she decided to do her nails in the car. It was early so it was still pretty dark. I told her not to but did she listen? NOOOO!!!! (parents... geez... ) anyway she got some on my passenger seat. I don't know how I should go about getting it out. She said she was going to take nail polish remover to it... but I don't know if that will just make it worse.
Time to ask for some Sparcos.

Please Help!!!!!!

its a cloth seat i assume?? try to use nail polish remover first, then use something like simple green.. that takes out most seat stains..

Yeah I have the cloth seats...
I'll just try to take out a little bit at a time... then see what happens... I'm so mad... my poor celica. I don't want to use any harsh chemicals cuz all I need is a faded spot on my seat.

Thanks for the suggestions!

I wouldn't suggest using nail polish....simply because your going to have the worst smell in your car.

maybe...I have no idea if this is safe at all...you could take the seat cloth off and put it in the washer?

The seat cover comes off easily theres a zipper on the side.

I am pretty sure that nail polish won't come out in the wash but maybe I can take them to get them dry cleaned? Do you guys think that will work?

that sounds like a good idea to me.

It's either that or live with it...or get your mom to order you new seat covers.

i think taking the seat cover off would be alot of work though isnt it?

My mom is convinced that she can get the stain out... so I'm gonna let her try... if she messes them up more then I'm gonna get her to buy me some new seat covers or maybe new seats (but that's wishful thinking).
