Whats up y'all... Just wanted to say I got my GTS today. It has 14400 miles with every option... and I paid aa whopping $16600 before taxes. I think I got a hella good price..What do you all think?
P.S. I have the factory alarm with it also, I just wanted to know if it was possible to make the beeping sound go away whenever you lock and unlock.

congrats on the new ride, sounds like a good price, oh and u can make the beeping sound go away...there should be a switch by the hood latch lever under the left side of the steering wheel. have fun with ur car and enjoy!

What's the factory alarm like?

Here is Australia, it wasn't even an option to have an alarm.

the factory alarm sucks...it costs $400 and breaks down on a constant basis...to make matters worse, the wiring goes all over the dead pedal. Gotta love the remote entry though!

hmmm, whenever you lock and unlock it makes this pretty loud beeping noise, i don't really want to hear it anymore.
oh and spec gts....there is no switch anywhere near the latch or steering wheel....any more suggestions? I don't want to take it to toyota and have them do it because its a hassle:)

Congrats. Yes I think that is a good price. I bought a 2000 gts about a month ago with 20000 mi for $16,900 so good find. I dont know about the alarm though, I heard they are pretty weak. I would just replace the whole thing with a DEI alarm.

I haven't actually read it but I got an instruction manual with the alarm. If you did not get one you should go to the dealer and see if he will provide you with one.
