i'm thinking it's a twin turbo tundra V8 motor but i'm not completely sure on that.

i did see rado's celica...........some1 said it isnt running till ATCO though =\

yea it does have a TT tundra v8, rados celica tried to run yesterday but they had some problems, the 202 mph run was in the finals about 5 pm sunday
on a side note the HKS 180SX was amazing on the celicas tail 7.1@191mph from what i hear it has a skyline motor in it (6cyl)

that was a sick run. it was there last chance to get it and they got it and a 25000 check for getting the 200mph mark.

Props to Turbonetics and the work they've done with the Tundra V8! And that Celica body they use is tight.

Luis, how bad were the cars on Sunday compared to Saturday. Too many cars broke down on Saturday. Also, what time did brackets finish Saturday night.

there was a few breaks not as bad as sunday though
brackets sat ended for me by 9

This is really disappointing. This was posted on ClubRSX and the basic commentary is "but it's not a real Celica..." and "I want to see a FWD i4 break 200mph." I really dont understand the mentality sometimes. Heres the link if you want it:

its still damn impressive to me, but more impressive is the hks car who is running almost the same ET with 2 less cylinders!

I think you're confused.

The Turbonetics Celica is a RWD tubeframe TT 4.7 ltr V8 also used in a Tundra. The thing was a beast all day. I got it on video running consistant 7.1s all day long. That car and the HKS car were rockets.

The World Racing Celica is a FWD tubeframe Single turbo 2.7 4 cyl also used in a Tacoma.

would you say anything if people here posted comments like those?
it's like ANYTHING they say thats negative about the celica, you guys gotta make a big deal out of it.
