Greg, you should just get your current ones custom made like that. Fiberglass fenders arent such a good idea and especially for that price.

How would you do that (assuming you can DIY) or how much do you think it would cost? Because I have to get mine repainted anyways, so before I paint them would be the best time to do something like this.

^^ it is too hard to explain on the net. but I will try, you would need to cut the fender like the shape of the cut out. The you would bend the piece you cut inward then use use glass or 3m 8115 to build up walls to make it look like a vent.

Please dont do it yourself. If someone has to ask how to do it, Then they shouldnt really be doing it. take it to a shop and get it done right so you wont have to buy another fender and it wont look halfassed. its not gonna be as easy as you think. it shouldnt cost much. maybe around 200 and im guessing to do the project and then apint would cost another 200. This is just a guess.

:werd: not sure about pricing. My bet is anywhere you go they will give you different prices. Just bear in mind that the lowest price is not necessarily the best place to go. The shop I'm getting my body work done at costs a ton, but the craftsmanship is well worth it. My advice is no matter where you go, ask to see (in person) the custom body work they've done. You can tell alot about their work that way. Look at how well the body lines still match up, etc.
