For all of u that have spent a lot of time on your audio setups.... what do you do with the spare tire? I have had two flats in the last year and it would have killed me to ride on my rims.... I want to have the audio setup and the spare! Is it possible?

I plan on putting a single 8" sub in the space between my rear strut brace and the back of the seats..... have it right in the opening of the brace. just the one , smaller sub might not be enough for some, but I think it'll suit what I want just fine.

There is plenty of space to still have access to your spare tire. I have 2 10s and can easily get to my spare without moving anyting (Which is good cause my box isn't really movable :) )

Yeah.. if you wanna keep the spare there are a # of ways you can do it. You don't HAVE to build an enclosure in the spare tire well.. but some chose to do it. My spare sits in my garage.. if I know I'm going on a long trip I bring it with me.. but otherwise that's where it stays. If I get a flat then I'm screwed.. I just call someone and they pickup my spare for me. I took it out in hopes that it would offset SOME of the weight of my system (albeit not that much).. to each his own :)

I was thinking of building a box to lift everything up and install cpu fans to the box to keep everything cool. If I build it over the spare I could still get it out if I need to.
