I like the Zaino-Bros. car wash...but its expensive. Armour- all has a new one out thats not bad....turtle wax makes a few good ones too. experiment...see what cleans your wax but doesnt take it off...different soaps will react to waxes different ways..i use the zaino car wash because i zainoed my car....it doesnt strip it as fast....but with regular store bought wax...i had good luck with turtle wax car wash.

I use m'guires gold class....I like it a lot...even w/o wax, it still gives a good shine....
Speaking of which, i am a lazy man, so I tried this 'speed bead' canned'wax....i dig it....for a quick psudo-wax.... its pretty good.
Spray on.....rub in...dry....rub off.
A lazy mans dream come true

everyone has their own personal preference, but you want to look for a soap that will not strip your wax, and is safe and gentle. Meguires and Mothers California Gold car soaps are the best products that are inexpensive and readily available. Soap shouldnt make you go broke.

i have a bad problem with water spots so I use Rain X self dry car wash. It doesnt let the water bead up so it doesnt burn water spots into the car, even though i do chamois the car every time i wash it, it still gets spots sometimes.

I use Meguire's Professional Hi-Tech Wash. It foams up really nicely and cleans and washes off nicely. It gives a really sweet shine after you're done with it, even without wax. Once you put a layer of wax on it (I use Meguire's Cleaner Wax) it shines like the next show car... :D
