trust exhaust...

hey guys...
i went to sas (syd auto salon) this w/end and saw the trust products for sale there. i know their products are probably just as good as HKS, and i asked if they do a celica exhaust. they said there is a cat-back kit for$1385.00
my question is does anyone know what it sounds like and what the power gains are out of it.

Hey platnm

Trust, Greddy, Grex and Gracer are same company. I've just had a look at the Trust/Greddy website which is in Japanese (www.trust-power.com) and it seems that there are no Greddy exhaust systems which probably means that the exhausts are badged using the Trust name in Japan but in the US it retains the Greddy name. Not exactly too sure if thats the case but its what I think they do. Although there are more types of Trust/Greddy exhausts available in Japan so it could be quite different from the US versions.

The exhaust model for the celica is call POWER EXTREME II but i don't think the sound clips is available on the homepage...
but....1385AUD sounds ok for an import parts...

and are there other things special on the Auto Salon SYD??

well kennly that was the only thing i looked at at SAS, i didnt have enough time to look more
would be interesting to see the difference b/ween trust ank hks sound wise.
id assume they'd have very similar power outputs.

Welll i am using the HKS exhaust now, it's quite in LOW RPM and lound in HIGH RPM, i reckon their design is quite cool...
but i think TRUST exhaust will gain a bit more power then HKS
because the exhaust is STRIGHT through from CAT to the END.... u know what i mean? the HKS got a SUB Muffler.... so some of the power lost from there...
Correct me if i am wrong, but 1 of my honda tech friend told me that

well kennly it sounds right.. that means in theory if hks got a sub-muffler it might restrist power than the trust exuast but must also means its quieter than trust.
u'll probably have less problems with police if it is quieter..

Sorry for late reply man, my computer got stuff up...
mmm YES the sounds come out really loud when i hit lift.... around 5000rpm....

But have u seen the post in the performance forum... some of the HKS exhuaust user complain on the exhaust... they said it got holes in the muffler...
Lucky that i don't have any problem on mine :)
