Hey everyone, just decided to sign up here since i'm seriously looking at a 2000 celica GT. I'm 19 years old, but have been into cars for sometime now. My first car was a 1995 civic that i turbo'd with a custom kit i built myself (made around 185whp). I'm not really into exterior mods, so i just had it lowered and slapped a set of rims on there and left it clean. I'm more into engine mods and into making a well rounded car (so i'm also not into making HUGE hp gains, just a nice little autox car basically). I Live in NY on the hudson rivier, and hope to learn a few things about celica's before i go out and get one.

Welcome. This is definitely the best place on the web for people who want to modify the Celica for performance. It's good that you are performance-minded.

if you want cornering then i would suggest a turbo GT with suspension Upgrades. Why not the GT-S? Because they have lesser lowend power. BUt its your car.
