That's just an overlay, and it's probally that fake CF pattern. That price is rediculous too for what you get. You could have your console wrapped with real CF for about that same price, maybe even less.

I agree with everyone else..
Overlays are just vinyl, get it wrapped.. May cost a little more, but it looks much better.

that seems to be an overlay...if you go back one step up, you'll see that the title says "Simulated carbon fiber dash applique by Acculaser"

another shot. mine is a jdm wrapped by fibercation. i would reccommend topshop unless u have ability to clearcoat and wetsand it yourself like i did.

JDM wrapped???
Its the JDM upper console (spot for screen instead of cubby hole used in Navigation option we could not get) wrapped in real carbon fiber

gotta keep terms strait. the kits u find on ebay are not wrapped carbon fiber. they have real and synthetic (checkerbaord) stick on dash kits but they are not wrapped. wrapped is where u take a piece and have it overlayed, epoxied, clearcoated on your piece (what i have done in the pics above). The u have c/f replacement parts. they make a mold and then make the entire piece in c/f. noone has done this for our celica center console. to hard to make the mounting snaps ect to have it fit right. and cost is way to high for the maybe .1g u will save in weight ;)
price wise: A stick on fake or real dash kit on ebay range from 100-180 maybe 200 at most. they do not cover the complete dash. A wrapped center console (3 pieces, upper, ac and shifter surround) range from 250-400+. cheapest is fibercation but u will have to either have it reclearcoated or do it urself like me. his finish isnt perfect. the best and most expensive is topshop. normally about double fibercation but well worth the price.
here is my old fake stick on dash kit. the real c/f stick on kits are exactly same design (cover same area) but instead of checkerboard are actual c/f weave.

when i got my stick on kit i was very pleased with it. made the interrior look good and wasnt to expensive. then i went to a show and realized it wasnt going to fly in the least bit. heinsight it would have been better to save the 115 or whatever i spent on it in the beginning and save for the wrap job that i had done. but at the time i didnt think i would spend that kind of money to get it done. so moral is. if you doing shows get it wrapped. dont waste time on stick on even if its real c/f. if just daily and to look good then go with a real c/f stick on

i still think that the stickers look nice. all they do for you is just make you "look" good. looking with your eyes, not with your hands. unless you're an expert and really anal about what's real or fake. either way hombredelasstra, your past and your present interior looks hella nice no matter what . shoot, if i spent $115 on some fake shiet, i'd just leave it and save me the trouble of wasting more money later on. but i guess that was your project was to have CF all over.

lol thanks buddy :) and yea i am now anal about what is real and what is fake. my last project was operation get rid of fake crap ;) accomplished in all areas except damn horn button and headunit cover :) if ur not doin shows and dont have moeny to waste i'd just get a real c/f sticker and u will be very pleased. or just go ahead and buy one from my GB for 103 shipped but its the fake synthetic like my old one :(
