ok, I was planning on putting custom grills in the lower front, front sides, and rear sides but I'm not sure how to attach them to the body. I've seen pics of it done before so I was wondering what you guys used. I'm not too worried about the lower front but the rest might be a pain.

Also I was wondering where to get this type of grill:

Kinda looks like honeycombs. Do they sell that kind of pattern at Home Depot? I'll probably ride out there to check either way but if I can save myself a trip that would be good. Anyway, thanks for any help.

Placing the grills in that location isnt that hard... Just have to cut it, fit it, fold it and screw it in to place (front only)... With the back part what you want to do is get some bondo or some heavy duty 3m double sided tape... I didnt buy the grill from Kaminari since they are so expensice what I did was - I went to home depot got myself a sheet of mesh grill (which ran me about ($3.31 tax included :D) cut it to fit the desired locations and thats it... Well, I hope that helps... Later...

most of my friends told me to just use a hot glue gun to stick the grills on. BTW i just got my Kaminari front bumper... i haven't looked at it yet.. but is that hole already there in that picture you posted?

I assisted John in installing his grill on his Kaminari Kit. If you look on your Kaminari Front bumper you'll see screws there that can be removed. Place the grill on it (making sure to cut the grill proportionally so it doesnt overlap or look tattered) then rescrew. The key is to screw it on the corner of the grill so it holds tight. If John posts a pic of his Kit from the meet, I think it was already on by then, you'll see what I mean. It looks nice. The only reason I can see u spending money on this is if you get the diamond shaped grills (not the normal ones from home depot).
I still remember pretty well the way we went about it so if you wanna ask anymore questions, you can PM me or PM nyoneway (John).

Thanks for the replies. I've actually tried hot glue on my eclipse I used to have and it peeled off eventually. I think the front will be fairly easy but I'm still not sure of a good way to do the smaller sections. I may try double sided tape. I bet I could get it fairly tight that way.

Oh and just how expensive is that honeycomb grill? I couldn't find it on Kaminari's website. Is there another place that sells it cheaper?

hi ho silver: yes that hole is already there.

Thanks again,
Nate
