we're gunna see valve covers from them soon :D

Yep, I called to check the status of my order (from Bottle's GP) and the lady there told me that they are working on the valve covers for the GT-S in CF. Sweet huh?

Then the lady proceeded to tell me about Ivan (sp?).. the guy featured in Super Street. Apparently he was disappointed with the fact that it was only for the GT-S (since he has a GT).. so, being that he is friends with the owner, they will probably be making valve covers for the GT in the future. I told her that, even though I have a GT-S, I am SURE there is a market as well for the GT owners.. basically, I encouraged her to tell them to make both.

She then told me that in the future we should be seeing some CF fenders for those who are interested.. (apparently Ivan wants them made too).

anyway.. just thought I would share..

CF fenders are already out there, but Fiber Images is a really good company. Gives people who want them a choice. I can't wait to see the pics of the valve covers.

Yeah i knew the fenders were already out there.. and I thought there were doubts about the quality and stuff, not sure though. Either way, it's fiber images.. so we all know the quality will be there.

Yeah.. I can't wait to see pics either. None yet though.. I asked. I'll pester her again about it when I call back at the end of next week.

On a separate note, QWKsilver808.. give me your wheels. Now. I mean it :D :D Ok, well, wanna trade for some oh so shiny ADR Kasai's? LOL. I'll throw in my liver and my left lung if you want to make it an even trade.

How long has your hood been on order?
It's been going on 5 weeks for mine I was told 4.
The lady at the time of order said there was a large backorder since the article ran with the hood.

About as long as you. Did you order from Titan Motorsports (bottle) or somewhere else? You've gotta understand that if they tell you you are fourth on the list.. that doesnt mean you are going to be the 4th person that gets a hood. It means you are fourth for the particular place you bought it from. They alternate between lists for each dealer of their products.

Production of Celica hoods will be increased shortly too. Before, they only had one mold from which to make the hoods from.. the fastest they could make it was 1 every 2 days. Now they will be able to double that because they are in the process of completing a second mold.

Hehe NO!! Bad monkey! That's the best part of the car. ;) And I have them in powdercoated silver so they match the car perfectly.

My friend has a set of ADR Kasais on his GT-S... they look tight! But I ain't tradin'!! :monkey:
