Hi guys
I just got a new 18's for my celica, but there is a huge gap between the top of the type and the arch! I guess id have 2 lower the car...how much does it roughly cost to get the car lowered and any idea how much id need to do it?

order springs and take it to a shop or do it but it sounds like you probally couldnt do it safety.
springs are anywhere from 100-300 coilovers are twice that if not 3 times that for better stuff

I would look in the fs forums and look for some used ones if ur tight on cash. There were tein group buys going on a while back that might still be open. They were selling stechs for like $150 shipped. If ur a newbie like me, i wouldnt recommend installing the springs urself...if u have some experienced friends have them do it. if u plan on going to somewhere like Belle Tire, you're looking at about $500. ($280 for Eibach pro kit and $200-250 for install). I managed to pay $100 for springs and install...$50 shipped for springs (thanks 04celigt04) and $50 for install (I paid some friends). Hope this helped

Your car must look like an SUV with 18s and no springs. :(

Thanks Guys....thats helpful im gonna try get some springs 4 it (and yes it does look like an SUV lol) Im in the uk so i have a feelin it might be a little more expensive as most things are on this crappy island!! what you guys think of the rims? I hadn't seen any other celica's with them. Also have the option to put 19's on...

even if you put 19's on you'll still have gap, the car needs to be lowered to get rid of the gap. but sometimes 19's look huge on celica's. stick w/ your 18's and drop that biotch.
