Hey guys,

So I have finally hammered out all the rest of the leaks I've gotten since I put on the C2 Stage 1 Turbo Kit. My last one that I've been dealing with that I cannot seem to eliminate is the one coming from somwhere on the valve cover. I have replaced the gasket/seal 3 times already so it doesn't seem to be that. But I have conluded that the source of the leak is somewhere near the intake manifold in between the first and second runner counting from the left. I have my valve cover powder coated which I thought was the problem but I have talked to other members here that have their valve cover stock and seem to have the same issue. This problem is seriously driving me nuts. Any help or insight on how to solve this problem would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I do not think the turbo kit is causing that oil leak, the only places that I would think possible for a leak is the actual turbo, and the oil feed and return lines. Those are easy to correct though. You are talking about oil leaking, not a boost leak correct?

Could you take a picture of your engine bay, take off your engine plastics and show us where exactly is the problem.

I don't think this has anything to do with the actual turbo or its feed and return lines. I'm having this same problem and it's oil coming from the very top of the engine, somewhere around the valve cover, but the turbo stuff is all way down below in the back so it can't be that. I also pulled my valve cover and installed a new gasket and seal packing, but it didn't fix the issue.

Oil will puddle up between the first and second IM runners (counting from the left), and splatter on engine components on the passenger side (from it dripping down onto the serpentine belt). It will also splatter on the passenger underside of the hood.

are we talking 1zz or 2zz? i know the early 1zz have a mysterious oil eating problem.

did you put a little FIPG at the place where the timing chain cover meets the head? It sometimes leaks from that point.

FIPG is the toyota black silicone stuff...used around your oil pan and such...good stuff, accept no substitute
