View Full Version : 18x7,5 TTE Rims.. tell me what you think

these rims are made by TTE (Toyota Team Europe). TTE is the european counterpart to TRD (Japan and USA).

i just ordered these for the price of 2400 US-Dollars. They are a two piece design. they are gonna be mounted on a black 2002 celica. please tell me what you think of them.

I don't like the look of them, they're too flat. And really expensive to! Soz...

me neither, wow, and I think they are pretty expensive, I would get volks. Do you know how heavy are they? And are they cast or forged?

i think they are forged, but don't take my word for it ...


you are absolutely right about the design, but over here in good ol' germany we need for every performance part (icluding rims) a special permit from the much feared "T

Im currently trying to contact TTE about switching my ecu out, but i loss there number. anD they haven't answered my emails. Just like there counterparts TRD:(

TTE 18" rims weight 12.8kg (is that much or what?)

soceur: the number is 02234 18230 (Toyota Motorsport TTE)

Yes, that's pretty heavy for 18" rim, 12.8kg = 28.16 lbs , and for that heavy, I don't think they are forged.

thanks kawika, i talked to them yesterday and now their telling me its unlawful for them to give me information on rather the euro spec ecu would work on the us spec celica. WTF. How is that unlawful?? Damn TRD and TTE
