after a long and dreadful month or so..car is finally fixed and back on the road...shift engagement is much smoother. and grabs harder..top end seems to have much improvements as so as my acceleration.by the way it was the southbend clutch and fidanza flywheel that was installed as well as the extended clutch rod, shifter base bushing kit, shifter bushing kit, steel braided clutch line from speed-source. will post some pics tommorrow of how bad my clutch was fvcked..IT WAS MISSING CHUNKS OUT OF OF IT! the bell ticking noise i was implying about a few months back is gone. i guess it had to do with the the part of clutch.all in all im happy to have my car back and i wont have to drive my dads explorer.i hate that thing!

so the clutch caused the issue or improper installation of the clutch?

i doubt it would be improper install of the clutch i mean it lasted only 25,000 miles which is sh*tty.it only started tickering around wen my clutch was going..and thats wen i found out parts of the clutch was flying around the tranny..thats my logical explanation.

a month? what were they doing? clutch is a 4 hour job with air tools and a lift. it is a day with a buddy in a garage.

they said they were so back-up.and that was the cheapest place ive found that was close enough to tow my car.they charge me only 535 for install which is the cheapest price quoted to me since i was a former employee of theirs. otherwise they would have charge me about 800 after tax. other place ive found quoted me up to 1200.00.
