I just got 1st place at a car show this weekend and as Im walking back to the car with my trophy a cop in his cruiser pulls right up next to me. "Hey there, Congrats, whats the trophy for?"
"Oh, I just won 1st in the show" "Really, in what?" I point to the celica. "Damn, that looks good, what do you have done" I go into what I have done and what not and he asks how fast "High 14's all motor, low 14's high 13's on nitrous.....at the track of course" then his responce is what makes me wonder..."Oh, I could care less about street racing when I'm not on the clock, me and my buddies go out and watch the races all night." "It's only when stupid punks like to race in rush hour trafic and end up killing people that bothers me"
It was just one of those moments when I realized cops were people too and some can be pretty cool...I think that's the first cop ive ever talked to wasn't some Big Head with a gun and a badge...we have a lot of those anal cops out here in PHX..
